Für Saïd war es ein Ritual, für Ali eine Rückkehr in die Vergangenheit, für Georg eine Entdeckung. Hand in hand, an everyday gesture between men in Morocco, Ali, who can see, and Saïd, who cannot, walked through the streets of Marrakesh without anyone knowing who was guiding whom. Bei allem, was sie in den Straßen von Marrakesch erlebten, gab es einen Moment, der immer wiederkehrte: Warten. Above all, they were struck by waiting in all its forms and ambiguities: rest during siestas until the heat of the day is past, in the shade of a palm tree or a wall, cafés and pavements full of men talking away, all day long. Warten, weil nichts anderes zu tun ist - als eine Verbindung zur Zukunft. This was the starting point for "Inn Tidar", the arabic expression for "waiting". "Inn Tidar" (arabisch für Warten) ist die erste Produktion von Les Ballets du Grand Maghreb.
